I've been fortunate over the years to be commissioned to paint some truly wonderful paintings for truly amazing people. It has to be one of the most fulfilling aspects of my job to create a completely unique painting which is often deeply personal to my client.

"Just off to Georges"
This commission was a complete surprise for the lovely lady on the bike from her husband for her birthday but it was also to say thank you for looking after his father, George, for the last two years of his life. George lived in the next village and she would make the trip often on her bike.
It's been such a pleasure and privilege creating this painting about home, family and unconditional love and kindness.

"I was looking for a picture to put on a newly painted wall. I had bought one of Helen’s paintings a few years back and was looking at her website when I saw that she does commissions. My 60th birthday was coming up and I knew I wanted something special and a commissioned painting would be ideal.
I met with Helen and we discussed what colours I liked and what little symbols I wanted in the painting that were personal to me. I was completely bowled over when I saw the end result. The picture was unveiled at my birthday party and it was so fun to see my friend’s reactions. They were really taken with the vibrant colours and little symbols.
I will have that picture forever and I love the thought that it will be passed down to my children and then to their children.

"I loved the idea of commissioning an artist, and renovating a sacred space to house my clinic, Cycles of Change, felt like the perfect opportunity to allow that dream to manifest.
I had heard about Helen Rhodes and seen some of her unique work.
